Woman arrested for DUI drugs in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A 47-year-old woman from Burlington was arrested for DUI drugs following an incident in New Haven yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an impaired driver at the Jiffy Mart at around 6:40 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of US Route 7 and Campground Road.

The driver was identified as Angela Carroll.

While speaking to Carroll, police say they observed indicators of impairment and Carroll was screened for DUI.

Carroll briefly resisted arrest and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

She was transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing.

She was later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.

Troopers were assisted by members of the Vergennes Police Department.
