Fatal three-vehicle crash in Stark under investigation

STARK –– A Vermont man has been killed and a New Hampshire man injured in a three-vehicle crash on Route 110 on Wednesday, according to New Hampshire State Police.

The crash, which occurred around 3:48 p.m., involved a 2009 Dodge 2500 pickup truck, a 2013 GMC dump truck, and a 2012 Honda Odyssey, all scattered along the westbound lane of Route 110 with significant damage.

Police identified the Dodge pickup driver as Lefty A. Marshall, 33, of Bloomfield, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Marshall was driving eastbound on Route 110 when his vehicle drifted across the centerline into the westbound lane, colliding first with the GMC dump truck and then the Honda Odyssey.

The GMC dump truck was operated by Leo Caron, 77, of Pittsburg, New Hampshire, who was taken to Weeks Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Honda Odyssey was driven by John Schwind, 53, of Berlin, New Hampshire. Both Schwind and a passenger escaped without injuries.
