Woman arrested for domestic assault in Clarendon

CLARENDON — A 50-year-old woman was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Clarendon today.

Authorities say they were notified of domestic violence at a home at around 2:40 a.m.

Following an investigation, police allege that Joy Bruno, of Clarendon, caused pain and/or bodily injury to a family/household member.

She was taken into custody and transported to the State Police barracks in Rutland where she was processed for domestic assault.

A judicial official was contacted, and Bruno was issued a citation to appear in court on August 28 and released with conditions.
