Brattleboro gas station robbed at knifepoint

BRATTLEBORO –– A local gas station became the site of an armed robbery early Sunday morning, according to Brattleboro Police Department.

At approximately 3:47 a.m. on Aug. 12, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K gas station located at 564 Canal St.

The suspect, described as a white male around 5 feet 6 inches tall, reportedly entered the establishment wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a black mask.

The individual demanded money while brandishing a knife.

Brattleboro Police are now seeking public assistance in their ongoing investigation.

Residents are being asked to check their home video systems for any potential footage of the suspect and share the recordings through Neighbors by Ring, a digital neighborhood watch program.

Those who may have captured relevant footage but are unable to share it digitally are encouraged to call the police department for an officer to manually collect a copy of the video.
