BRATTLEBORO — A 46-year-old woman from Westminster was cited for negligent operation following a crash in Dummerston.

On March 27, authorities say they were traveling south on Route 5 when they noticed a group of people running toward the wood line beside Supreme Fitness and a single vehicle within the breakdown lane with their hazards on.

The Acura Integra going north on Route 5 passed a vehicle on the right side of the road striking the rear right portion of the vehicle and the guardrail.

The vehicle proceeded north and eventually went through the Supreme Fitness parking lot where it crashed through multiple trees and stopped sideways in the tree line.

The driver of the Integra was identified as Amanda, L, Sabo.

She was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

Once Sabo was released from the hospital, she was located at her home where she was cited and released for the charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
