FRANKLIN — Local police announced the arrest of a habitual offender in Franklin on Thursday.

According to authorities, officer LeBlanc with the Alexandria Police Department received information from an off-duty officer that Brendon Henss may be heading towards Alexandria on a motorcycle.

Henss, who has been arrested for the same charge on multiple occasions, was considered a risk to the public.

Upon spotting Henss, Officer LeBlanc attempted to pursue him, but discontinued the pursuit due to the risk involved.

However, Officer LeBlanc called Franklin PD to let them know he was heading their way.

Thanks to the quick thinking of Sgt Guerriero, who waited for Henss to pass him with normal traffic, Henss was eventually arrested after pulling over to grab a pizza.

Henss has been charged with habitual offender and will go before a judge on Monday to decide bail.

The Bristol and Franklin police departments assisted with the arrest.
