DUI charges after crash in Troy

TROY — A 31-year-old man from Jeffersonville was arrested for DUI following an incident in Troy early this morning.

Police say they located a vehicle off the road on Routhier Road, near the intersection with Vermont Route 100, at around 12:40 a.m.

Troopers met with the driver who was identified as Michael Roberts.

Police say Roberts drove into the ditch when traveling south.

He was not injured, and the vehicle sustained little to no damage.

While troopers spoke with Roberts, police say he displayed multiple indicators of impession and after further investigation was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the Derby barracks for processing and was released with a citation.
