Man arrested in Colchester with fentanyl, crack cocaine

COLCHESTER — A 40-year-old man from Winooski was arrested in Colchester on Monday.

Authorities say they were notified of suspicious drug activity in the parking lot of a business on South Park Drive at around 2:50 p.m.

Police say they identified one of the individuals involved as Raymond Norton.

After further investigation, officers located 115 bags of fentanyl and approximately 19 grams of crack cocaine.

Norton was arrested and lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility on an active Department of Corrections arrest warrant.

He was also charged with fentanyl trafficking and possession of cocaine.
