JAMESTOWN, NY — A man faces multiple charges after police say he violated an order of protection and assaulted a victim in two separate domestic incidents.
Officers responded to a residence on the south side of the city at approximately 11:48 p.m. on March 12, 2026, for an unknown 911 call.
During the investigation, officers determined that Dennis R. Boron, 51, of Jamestown, had shoved the victim into a wall, causing damage to the wall.
The victim also sustained a minor injury as a result of the shove.
Further investigation revealed that a separate domestic incident had occurred a few days prior, during which Boron again shoved the same victim.
During that incident, the victim was pushed through a table and sustained injuries.
Officers also determined that an active order of protection was in place through Jamestown City Court, protecting the victim from Boron.
When officers attempted to take Boron into custody, he barricaded himself inside the residence.
Officers subsequently located Boron inside the home and took him into custody without further incident.
Boron was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
Boron has been charged with two counts of aggravated criminal contempt, two counts of criminal contempt in the first degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree, assault in the third degree and resisting arrest.
