Man arrested on burglary, contempt charges in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES, NY — Police arrested a 39-year-old man on multiple charges following a reported dispute on Route 32.

Vincent Neglia Jr., of Saugerties, was taken into custody at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2026, according to the Saugerties Police Department.

Neglia was charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal contempt, both felonies.

He also faces misdemeanor charges of second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

Following his arrest, Neglia was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and transported to CAP court for arraignment.
