Man arrested on theft charges in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES, NY — A 36-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following a theft investigation.

Kyle M. Schick, of Saugerties, was taken into custody by the Saugerties Police Department at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2026, at 1392 Route 212.

Schick was charged with two counts of petit larceny, two counts of menacing in the second degree and trespass.

One count of petit larceny and one count of menacing in the second degree stemmed from the February incident, while the additional charges related to a complaint filed in August 2025.

Schick was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
