SARATOGA COUNTY, NY — A Green Island man faces three felony assault charges after allegedly attacking corrections officers at the Saratoga County Jail in December.
Jamier R. Walker, 29, of Green Island, was arrested Tuesday on three counts of second-degree assault, a class D felony.
Walker is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to three Saratoga County corrections officers on Dec. 23, 2025, while he was incarcerated at the jail on a separate matter.
He allegedly struck the officers in their facial areas when they attempted to relocate him to another cell after he had reportedly assaulted another inmate.
One officer was treated by jail medical staff while another was transported to Malta Med Emergent care for evaluation and treatment.
The third officer was not treated.
Walker was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in Milton Town Court and remanded back to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
