POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA — A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Oct. 31.
Pocono Township Police responded to the accident on Camelback Road near Resort Drive at approximately 5:55 p.m.
Officers found a white Acura MDX off the roadway that had struck a tree.
During the investigation, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and the driver.
The driver was identified as Kristofer L. Pizarro of Pennsylvania.
Pizarro was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
He was charged with one count of driving under the influence of a controlled substance-general impairment, a misdemeanor.
