MILTON, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assist other agency call Tuesday at 4:59 p.m. at the Paul E. Lent Public Safety Building.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of J’von M. Flores, 18, of Halfmoon.
Flores is accused of intentionally damaging an ankle monitor belonging to the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision that had a value in excess of $250 and of recklessly causing damage to a wall inside an interview room in an amount exceeding $250.
He was charged with criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony, and criminal mischief in the 4th degree, obstructing governmental administration in the 2nd degree and resisting arrest, all class A misdemeanors.
Flores is also charged with intentionally attempting to prevent parole officers from performing an official function by means of physical force and of resisting their efforts to effect an authorized arrest of himself.
Flores was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in the Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in that court.
