JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested Friday night following a domestic dispute on the city’s east side.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a residence at around 8:12 p.m. Jan. 17.
Through investigation, police discovered that Ronald L. Decker placed his hands around the neck of a juvenile victim.
The victim had visible red marks around their neck stemming from the incident.
Officers placed Decker into custody at the scene and transported him to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
Decker is being held pending arraignment for criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child.
