JAMESTOWN, NY — A 22-year-old woman was arrested following a domestic dispute on the city’s west side.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to a residence at approximately 10:13 a.m. on Jan. 20, 2026, for a reported domestic dispute.
While on scene, officers observed Alivia M. Salverson, of Jamestown, outside the residence yelling loudly as she interfered with the investigation despite being given multiple lawful commands to stop.
Salverson was taken into custody, during which she attempted to pull away from officers and refused to comply with commands to sit in the patrol vehicle.
After a brief struggle, Salverson was secured and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident.
Salverson was charged with domestic violence-related disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
She is currently being held pending arraignment.
