Man arrested on warrant in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant Jan. 16.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were on patrol in the area of Pearl Street at approximately 11:47 p.m. when they learned Dylan Southworth, 28, of St. Johnsbury, had an outstanding warrant.

Troopers located Southworth at his residence shortly thereafter.

The warrant was for charges of DUI, reckless endangerment, cruelty to a child and DUI with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit.

After confirming the warrant, troopers took Southworth into custody.

He was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Southworth was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on Jan. 20 at 12:30 p.m.

He was then transported to Northeast Correctional Complex, where he was held on $200 bail.
