Woman arrested on DWI charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested on drunken driving charges after allegedly striking two vehicles and fleeing the scene Jan. 11.

Officers were dispatched to a leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident at around 5:56 p.m.

Police said one of the vehicles that was struck followed the fleeing vehicle.

Officers identified the driver as Lori L. Eaton of Jamestown.

Police said Eaton struck two vehicles, drove through a yard and fled the scene.

Through investigation, officers determined Eaton was under the influence of alcohol.

Eaton was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she refused an alcohol breath test.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield right of way.

Eaton was arraigned by Jamestown City Court on Jan. 12 and released.
