NORTHUMBERLAND, NY — State Police arrested two people following a reported altercation at a residence on Jan. 3, 2026.
Sarah Z. Davis, 33, of Albany, was charged with robbery, 2nd, a class C felony; criminal mischief 3rd, a class E felony; assault, 3rd, a class A misdemeanor; and two counts of criminal mischief 4th, a class A misdemeanor.
Zachary J. Bryant, 31, of Albany, was charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd and false personation.
At about 10:25 p.m., troopers from the Wilton barracks responded to a hang-up 911 call originating from a residence in Northumberland.
During the investigation, a victim was located with a facial injury.
Police said Davis was reportedly involved in an altercation with the victim.
During the altercation, Davis allegedly forcibly took property from the victim, prevented them from calling 911, damaged property belonging to the victim, and injured the victim.
Bryant was present during the investigation and provided false identifying information, hindering it, as he had an active warrant for his arrest.
Davis and Bryant were arrested at the scene and transported to State Police Wilton for processing.
Bryant was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Northumberland Town Court on Feb. 2, 2026, and then released to the Menands Police Department for the active arrest warrant.
Davis was arraigned at Wilton Town Court, where she was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash, $2,000 bond, or a $10,000 partially secured bond.
