WHEATFIELD, NY — Multiple 911 calls reported a structure fire at a River Road residence on Jan. 6, 2026.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division received the calls at 5:26 p.m.
Deputies arrived to find the residence fully engulfed in flames.
All occupants were safely evacuated from the residence.
Deputies secured the scene for fire personnel, who arrived and worked to extinguish the fire.
There is no estimate of the damage to the residence at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit.
