Man arrested on burglary charge in Williamson

WILLIAMSON, NY — New York State Police arrested a Williamson man following the investigation of a commercial burglary that occurred earlier this month in Wayne County.

On Dec. 13 at approximately 12:03 a.m., troopers responded to a burglary alarm at The Liquor Cabinet, located at 4101 Pearsall Road in the Town of Williamson.

Upon arrival, troopers observed that two entrance doors to the business had been forcibly damaged.

Troopers entered the building to clear it, with negative results for any suspects on scene.

An investigation determined that an unknown individual forcibly entered the business and removed multiple bottles of alcoholic beverages.

The total value of the stolen merchandise was approximately $113.91.

Surveillance footage was obtained and reviewed as part of the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Travis J. Breedlove, 32, of Williamson, was identified as the suspect.

Breedlove was taken into custody on Dec. 24 and transported to SP Lyons for processing.

Breedlove was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, petit larceny, a misdemeanor, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in the Town of Williamson Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
