MILLINOCKET, ME — A serious motor vehicle crash has closed a section of Outer Central Street.
The road is closed between the Information Booth and Rice Farm Road as public safety personnel work the scene.
Motorists are being detoured using Rice Farm Road to travel between Millinocket and East Millinocket.
The detour is expected to remain in place for several hours.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
Traffic delays are expected.
