6 arrested in retail theft operation in Greece

GREECE, NY — Police arrested six people during a retail theft-suppression operation on Dec. 10.

The Greece Police Department conducted a coordinated detail across multiple stores throughout the town with assistance from the New York State Police.

Toni Ferraraccio, 32, of Rochester, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly failing to scan $239.23 in merchandise at a Wegmans self-checkout.

Edward Zimmerman, 25, of Brockport, was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny after allegedly concealing $133.50 in merchandise at Kohl’s and leaving without paying.

Police said Zimmerman had been previously banned from Kohl’s for life.

He was transported to Monroe County Jail.

Amanda Deutsch, 34, of Greece, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly failing to scan $127.89 in merchandise at a Wegmans self-checkout.

Dena Robare, 35, of Greece, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly failing to scan $77 in merchandise at a Wegmans self-checkout.

She was banned from Wegmans for two years.

Tina Tanski, 50, of Greece, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly failing to scan $77 in merchandise at a Wegmans self-checkout.

Rachel Lodadio, 44, of Greece, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly failing to scan $14.28 in merchandise at a CVS self-checkout.

All suspects except Zimmerman were released on appearance tickets.
