NORTHUMBERLAND, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active domestic incident call Tuesday at 4:57 p.m. on Route 32 North.
Investigation into the complaint led to the arrest of Seth R. Ledger, 39, of Schuylerville.
Ledger was charged with robbery in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony, and criminal contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony.
He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief in the 4th degree, endangering the welfare of a child and assault in the 3rd degree.
Ledger is accused of forcibly stealing a mobile phone from the victim and of intentionally causing physical injury to them in violation of an order of protection.
The physical part of the incident allegedly occurred while a child less than 17 years old was present.
He is also charged with damaging a garage door latch at the victim’s residence.
Ledger was arraigned before the Honorable Jeffrey McCabe in the Moreau Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in the Northumberland Town Court.
