LYNDON, VT — A local man was arrested on a second-offense DUI charge Saturday night after troopers responded to a report of an intoxicated male.
Troopers were dispatched to Main Street at 10:20 p.m. Nov. 15.
Authorities were advised that the male, later identified as Matthew Mitchell, 34, of Lyndon, had left the scene in a vehicle and drove away in a negligent manner.
Troopers located Mitchell and an investigation revealed that he had operated under the influence.
Mitchell was taken into custody and transported to the State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury.
He was released on a citation.
