Man arrested on felony vandalism charge in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES, NY — A man was arrested following a report of vandalism to a parking meter on Partition Street.

Joseph R. Rinaldo 2nd, 30, of Saugerties, was arrested Nov. 3 at about 10 p.m. by the Saugerties Police Department.

The vandalism was reported on Oct. 31.

Rinaldo was charged with felony criminal mischief in the third degree.

He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and conspiracy in the fifth degree.

Rinaldo was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in Village of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
