CATSKILL, NY — Troopers from the New York State Police Coxsackie barracks responded to a report of a body floating in the Catskill Creek in the Village of Catskill on Nov. 2 at approximately 11:29 a.m.
Upon arrival, troopers recovered the body of an unidentified male from the water.
The investigation is being conducted by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Catskill and the Troop F Forensic Identification Unit.
The State Police was assisted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Catskill Village Police Department.
