Teen sought in fatal shooting in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY — Police are seeking a 16-year-old in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last month.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Warwick Avenue at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 9 for a report of a person shot.

Officers found 16-year-old Aajion Wright in a driveway between two houses suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to URMC by AMR and was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.

The Major Crimes Homicide Unit has identified 16-year-old Ke’yon Warren as the person who shot Wright.

The circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation.

Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Warren.
