ROSELLE PARK, NJ — A man was arrested after allegedly threatening a UPS driver with a gun Thursday afternoon.
The Roselle Park Police Department responded to the 600 block of Ashwood Avenue at approximately 2:44 p.m. on Oct. 16 for a report of a male threatening a UPS driver with a gun.
The victim stated the suspect fled on foot.
A search of the surrounding area was conducted with assistance from Kenilworth police.
After an investigation by patrol units and the Detective Bureau, a suspect was located and positively identified by the victim.
Wilfredo Hernandezromero of Perth Amboy was arrested and charged with one count of terroristic threats and one count of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose with an imitation firearm.
The imitation firearm was recovered.
Hernandezromero was released on a summons pending his superior court date.
