WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested an 84-year-old Saratoga Springs man Sunday on burglary and larceny charges at the Wilton Walmart.
John G. Randles was charged with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, following a larceny call at 2:39 p.m.
Sheriff’s officials said Randles is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully within the building with intent to commit a crime.
He had allegedly been previously informed by the business that he did not have permission to be on the premises.
Randles is also accused of stealing merchandise.
He was released on appearance tickets at the direction of Wilton Town Court Judge David R. Towne pending further proceedings.
