SARATOGA COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault call on Sept. 20 that reportedly occurred at 299 Hyspot Road in the town of Greenfield.
Investigation into the complaint led to the arrest Thursday of Braedon M. Loveday, 18, of Middle Grove, for assault in the 2nd degree, a class D felony.
Loveday is accused of intentionally causing serious physical injury to another person by punching and kicking them to the head, ribs, and other areas of their body.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in the Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in the Greenfield Town Court.
The victim was initially evaluated and treated at Saratoga Hospital and subsequently transferred to Albany Medical Center with multiple mandibular fractures.
