SWANTON — A 20-year-old Swanton man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident following a minor crash Sept. 23.
State police from the St. Albans barracks responded to the area of Route 78 and Jonergin Drive at approximately 9 a.m. for a report of a minor crash.
Police said one of the drivers had left the scene and did not stop to render assistance.
Investigation revealed that Dalton Whitehouse was the operator of the vehicle that left the scene.
The other driver was identified as Michael Martin, 45, of Alburg.
Whitehouse was issued a criminal citation to appear in Franklin County Court on Nov. 17 at 8:30 a.m.
