Rochester man cited for reckless endangerment after firing gun in dispute

ROCHESTER — A 52-year-old local man was cited Friday after firing a gun during a dispute at a residence on Bindrum Lane.

Jeremiah Bindrum was issued a criminal citation for reckless endangerment following the incident, which occurred at approximately 4:17 p.m.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to a report of a citizen dispute.

Investigation revealed Bindrum had been engaged in an altercation with Jon Buske, 50, of Plainfield, and Jon Bindrum, 80, of Rochester.

During the dispute, Jeremiah Bindrum discharged a firearm recklessly.

He is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Superior Court – Criminal Division at a later date to answer the charge.
