FRIENDSHIP — The Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Jonathan J. Johnson, 49, of Friendship, on Sept. 9 for criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree, reckless endangerment 1st degree and assault 2nd degree.
At 8:58 p.m. on Sept. 8, troopers responded to Jones Memorial Hospital for a 32-year-old male with a gunshot wound.
Investigation determined that Johnson and the victim got into an argument over rap music on Sept. 5.
During the argument, Johnson shot one round from a handgun into the victim’s leg.
Johnson was located and arrested by troopers.
Johnson was processed at SP Amity and transported to Allegany County Jail for CAP arraignment.
