Greece police seek suspect in grocery store theft

GREECE — The Greece Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted for larceny following a theft at a grocery store on Aug. 29 at approximately 6:15 p.m.

According to police, an individual dressed entirely in black entered a grocery store in town and took unspecified items without paying.

Authorities said the suspect then exited the store and left the area in a vehicle that was captured in surveillance footage.

Police released a reference number, 52609, connected to the incident.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
