SARATOGA COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fort Edward woman Monday on an arrest warrant issued by the Saratoga Town Court.
Amber R. Janiszewski, 32, was charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Janiszewski is accused of stealing a motor vehicle belonging to another person in July 2024.
She is also accused of exercising control over the vehicle knowing that she did not have the consent of the owner.
Janiszewski was released on appearance tickets pending further proceedings at the direction of the Honorable Charles Sherman of the Saratoga Town Court.
The charges filed in the matter are not considered qualifying offenses for the purpose of setting bail under the New York state law that went into effect in January 2020.
