WHEATFIELD — A man died Friday morning after becoming trapped under an agricultural rotary cutter.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call at 10:49 a.m. reporting an unresponsive male stuck under the machinery.
Family members arrived at the scene and freed the man before deputies took over life-saving efforts.
Fire and EMS personnel later relieved deputies, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the incident.
