SARATOGA COUNTY — A minor was arrested Friday for criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony, and again Tuesday for assault in the second degree, a class D felony, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
The minor is accused of damaging an ankle monitor by cutting it off, causing more than $250 in damage.
Authorities said the minor also intentionally prevented a police officer from performing their lawful duty and caused physical injury to the officer.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the minor kicked an officer while restraints were being adjusted, injuring the officer’s leg.
The minor was arraigned in the Youth Part of Saratoga County Court for the criminal mischief charge and in Family Court for the assault charge.
