WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a property damage motor vehicle crash Saturday at 12:06 a.m. on Edie Road.
Investigation into the crash led to the arrest of Deborah Ortiz, 71, of Gansevoort, for DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%, both unclassified misdemeanors.
Ortiz was also charged with moved from lane unsafely and failed to use designated lane, both infractions.
Ortiz is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and at a time when her blood alcohol content was 0.12%.
She is also charged with failing to operate her vehicle entirely within a single lane as nearly as practicable and with failing to obey the directions of every sign, signal or marking pertaining to proper lane usage.
Ortiz’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a trail sign.
She was released on appearance tickets pending further proceedings in the Wilton Town Court.
