Police seek missing horse stolen from Union property

1 min read

UNION — New York State Police at Endwell are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a horse stolen from a property in the Endicott/Union area.

The horse, named “Koda,” is a neutered male gelding with a flea-bitten grey color, meaning he is grey with flecks of red and has a darker muzzle.

Koda has two distinctive brands: one on his front left shoulder that appears as a roman letter “L” resembling an upside down “Y,” and another on the rear left flank that looks like an arrow pointing up with a line underneath it.

The horse’s owners are concerned because he has special dietary restrictions.

Police believe Koda was taken from a fenced property on Struble Road in the town of Union sometime between July 23 and July 24.

Anyone with information is urged to call the New York State Police at (607) 561-7400, case NY2500671337.
