NANTUCKET — Police are searching for a 19-year-old man who was last seen Tuesday evening in the Nobadeer Farm Road area.
Carlando Panton was last seen at approximately 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Nobadeer Farm Road and Hanabea Lane.
His family reported him missing Wednesday night.
Panton is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing a dark blue baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, brown shorts and white Nike sneakers when last seen.
Panton arrived on Nantucket Sunday and is unfamiliar with the island, according to police.
Police said they have received information from the family that he could possibly be hiding in the area.
