Saratoga county man jailed after domestic incident, threats posted online

SARATOGA COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Office responded to an inactive domestic incident call Tuesday at 10:27 p.m. on Saratoga Road in the town of Moreau.

An investigation led to the arrest of Jeramee R. Tucker, 34, who is homeless, for aggravated family offense and criminal contempt in the first degree, both class E felonies, and aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Authorities said Tucker is accused of violating an order of protection by threatening to kill the protected person via social media.

According to investigators, Tucker was also charged with committing an offense under the statute, having previously been convicted of a similar offense within the past five years.

Tucker was arraigned before the Honorable John Hogan in Moreau Town Court.

He was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
