FALL RIVER — Members of the police department’s CAST Unit executed a search warrant July 15 at 1977 Rodman Street, second floor, targeting 21-year-old Keith Goncalo, who was believed to be in possession of an AK-47.
Detectives conducted surveillance and safely took Goncalo into custody when he arrived at the location.
The search warrant was then executed without incident.
Inside the apartment, detectives recovered an AK-47 rifle, a large-capacity feeding device, and one round of ammunition from the suspect’s bedroom.
Goncalo was held on $35,000 bail and transferred to Fall River District Court.
