MEDFORD — The Medford Police Department has arrested Core Moore, 22, of Medford, in connection with the July 5 shooting that left a juvenile injured on Light Guard Drive.
Moore was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant with the assistance of the Northern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT Team.
He has been charged with three counts of armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a family/household member, strangulation or suffocation, carrying a firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
He is expected to be arraigned in Somerville District Court on Monday morning.
The investigation remains active and is being conducted by the Medford Police Detective Unit in collaboration with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
