Two arrested on drug charges in Great Valley

GREAT VALLEY, NY — Two people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

Cory A. Foster, 37, of Franklinville, and Sue Foster, 53, of Coldspring, were taken into custody by deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory.

Both were passengers in a vehicle stopped at 12:02 a.m. on Route 417 in the Town of Great Valley due to a vehicle and traffic law infraction.

Following an investigation, Cory Foster was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crack cocaine.

Sue Foster was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.

Both were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

They were processed and released on an appearance ticket for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.

They are due in the town of Great Valley Court at a later date for further proceedings.
