PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with two homicides and one non-fatal shooting.
Jahylin Melchur, 21, of Philadelphia, is wanted for the fatal shooting of Martin Higgins, 45, of Philadelphia, which occurred on June 20, 2026, at approximately 10:04 p.m. in the 900 block of W. Hunting Park Avenue.
Melchur is also wanted for the fatal shooting of Sharef Holman, 29, of Philadelphia, which occurred on June 26, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m. in the 1200 block of W. Hunting Park Avenue.
He is additionally wanted for the non-fatal shooting of a 55-year-old male that occurred on May 29, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lycoming Street.
The Homicide Unit is actively investigating these incidents.
