LINCOLN, RI — Members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested a West Warwick man on drug charges June 23, 2026.
Jaymen Gilroy, 26, of West Warwick, was arrested on charges of possession with the intent to deliver one ounce to one kilogram of a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine and possession with the intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine.
Gilroy was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
In a separate incident the same day, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Christopher De La Cruz, 20, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of the Providence Police Department.
De La Cruz was charged with felony assault, eluding and duty to stop accident resulting in personal injury.
De La Cruz was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.
