HALFMOON, NY — A woman was arrested on drunken driving charges following a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash at 5:09 p.m. on Sparrowhawk Circle.
Mary E. Colson, 67, of Halfmoon, was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Colson is accused of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.20%.
She was also cited for driving at a speed greater than was reasonable and prudent under the conditions.
Colson had been traveling westbound on Sparrowhawk Circle in a 2024 Honda SUV when she drove off the roadway into a ditch.
The vehicle came to rest on its side.
No injuries were reported and no other people or vehicles were involved.
Colson was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Halfmoon Town Court.
