CORINTH, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Sunday following a domestic incident investigation.
Herbert J. Shippee, 35, of Hadley, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Deputies responded to an inactive domestic incident call at 4:55 p.m. on Palmer Avenue in the village of Corinth.
Shippee is accused of using the victim’s debit card without permission, resulting in a loss of $1,527.25.
He is also charged with engaging in conduct that alarmed the victim by repeatedly texting vague threats and alluding to alleged purchases he made with their card.
Shippee was arraigned before Judge Michael T. Woodcock in Corinth Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
