Driver flees traffic stop in Evesham Township

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — A traffic stop turned into a manhunt after a driver fled on foot from police.

On June 14, 2026, at approximately 9:33 p.m., a Medford Township police officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for multiple motor vehicle violations.

The vehicle was stopped on Masters Circle in the Kings Grant section of Evesham Township, at which time the driver fled on foot into a residential area.

A coordinated search involving K-9 units from Medford Township, Mount Laurel and Pemberton Township police departments was conducted.

The driver was subsequently identified as Jordan A. Scott, of Willingboro.

Scott has multiple active warrants.

Scott has been charged with eluding, resisting arrest, obstruction and numerous motor vehicle offenses.

He remains wanted at this time.
